Meet Doug

Douglas Boring is the Managing Partner, Senior Wealth Advisor of Aspire Financial Planning. He dedicates himself to helping people create and preserve wealth. A financial professional since 1995, Doug’s education includes a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Berkeley where he played rugby for a Cal team that won the National Championship. He has earned the designation of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ which required advanced coursework in taxes, retirement planning, estate planning, investments, risk management, and other financial planning issues.

Doug has a diverse background in the industry which includes trading, technical analysis, derivatives, and quantitative algorithms. His wide-ranging understanding of the financial markets has allowed him to approach financial risk management with an independent perspective.

Doug is also a member of several financial industry organizations including the Financial Planning Association, as well as Kingdom Advisors, an organization that assists in designing financial strategies for faith-based charitable institutions and individuals.

Doug has been married to his wife, Judy, for over 30 years and they have 5 adult children. When not in the office Doug enjoys cross-training, swimming, target shooting, barbecuing, and various leadership responsibilities through his local church.
